Affirmation: I follow my inner compass and discard any beliefs that are no longer serving me. I go to the source. I seek the truth.
Intention: I intend that I remember that I am strengthened by my adversary.
Put a sticky note or sign that says SMILE somewhere where you will see it when you open your eyes in the morning. It will be your reminder.
Relax and use the seconds before you get out of bed to breathe. Inhale and exhale 3 breathes gently through your nose while maintaining half a smile. Become aware of your breathing and half smile with each breath.
After this exercise, continue to lie on your bed and take a few minutes to feel the effects of your practice before you continue your day.
